
This autumn will see live horse racing at Santa Anita Park when the highlights will be six breeder's cup preview races. The horse racing will take place at the three quarter of a century old track, over a six week period concluding on 6th of November.
The schedule for the horse racing is such that the participants will be able to prepare for the Breeder's cup which will be hosted in 2012.
Traditionally, Santa Anita has been hosting till year before last, the Oak Tree Racing since 1969. Last year Santa Anita made a change in its horse racing turf from synthetic to dirt.
The six stakes at the preview of the horse racing for Breeder's cup are Norfolk Stake for 2 years old, The Goodwood Stakes and the Ancient Titles Stake for 3 years old, the yellow Ribbon Stakes and Ladies Secret Stakes for fillies and mares, and the Oak Leaf Stakes for 2 year old fillies.
