There are fewer known-champions in racing and fewer still that manage to disappear for a year only to stage a dramatic comeback. Uncle Mo is bidding to revive his horse racing by doing just that, at the Kentucky 2011 Derby no less.

After missing races for nearly a year, Uncle Mo a 3-year old thoroughbred, division leader and easily the favorite in the Kentucky 2011 Derby is looking to spice things up in his debut at Gulfstream Park this Saturday. Bookers and bettors are doing short of selling their houses to get behind the impressive horse who will be looking to grab back the spotlight that he left behind a year ago.

And what better way to do it than to win the Kentucky Derby, only the most prestigious horse racing event in the US and probably in the world. Things are sure to get hot real quick.
